Mentoring Application (Word)
Mentoring
Mentoring Oak Tree Project mentors are paired with one student of the same gender until the student graduates. The mentor calls the student once a week (10-15 minutes) and meets with the student once a month, with the monthly meeting scheduling being flexible for the mentor. Oak Tree Project provides funds for the monthly meeting. Mentors are not expected to give financially while serving. Oak Tree Project also has 4 quarterly meetings a year that all students and mentors are expected to attend. Through the phone calls, monthly meetings, and quarterly meetings, mentors are able to be a consistent, committed presence in their student’s life. That is so meaningful for our students!
